If it’s too hot for coffee, they do have several tasty cold drinks to choose from as well.
They have a fun assortment of sweet and savory baked goods to go with your coffee, as well as refrigerated/cold things like Korean Shaved Ice (Bingsu). They have beautiful cakes for purchase, and will be happy to custom make one just for you! I almost always have one of their “bear head” buns, filled with a delicious “not-too-sweet” chocolate filling. Those seem to be pretty popular, as the frequently run out!
One thing I like is that nothing I’ve had here has been “overly” sweet. It’s not quite “pan dulce” but there’s a bit of restraint exercised when including sugar. Much more European than American!
The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable – a great space to relax for a few minutes on a drizzly, gloomy winter day and chat with a friend or take advantage of their free wifi and check your e-mail.
This is definitely on my short-list of “where shall we meet?” locations.
