This restaurant is a MUST visit for delicious food, beautiful presentation, generous portions and fantastic prices. The cuisine and presentation are what you would expect in a fine restaurant. The service you receive here is the same. When you enter Lambeau’s America expect an experience you quickly want to return to. Before we get into the best things to try, let’s find out how this amazing place came to be.
Earl Lambeau, known as Curley to his friends, was born and reared in Green Bay Wisonsin. He played college football for Norte Dame and upon graduation, he returned to his hometown and found a humble job at the local meatpacking plant. He began missing his good ole days of football. Soon Curley came up with an idea to start a team and with a $500 investment from his employer he started a football team in 1919. Curley let his girlfriend named the team he created. His girlfriend chose the name for the team to be the Green Bay Packers. His team became a winning team. The Green Bay Packers were so successful that the organization what is now known as the NFL asked them to join their league in 1921. Curley Lambeau is the definition of the great American Dream. He was able to create and live his dream in football as a player and then coach until 1953. The incredible spirit of Curley Lambeau can be found in the hospitality, atmosphere and of every location of Lambeau’s America restaurants.
The menu here has American comfort food at it’s BEST! The Bisan burger is everything you could have dreamed of, only better. The French Fries are some of the best I have tasted and the presentation is what one would experience in a five star fine dining. The pulled pork nachos are delicious and the drinks are perfectly made and perfectly priced!
Now for one of the BEST items on the menu, try the Chicken Friend Steak!! OMG! The batter is amazing and the entire dish is worth blowing any diet for.
