Dallas Tortilla and Tamale Factory

Being in Dallas-Fort Worth, there are plenty of places to enjoy great Tex Mex…but have you found a favorite place for fresh tamales? I was lucky to come across Dallas Tortilla and Tamale Factory while spending time in Bishop Arts and I was so happy I did. At Dallas Tortilla and Tamale Factory, you’ll find fresh tamales and tortillas in addition to authentic spices, homemade salsas, and to-go meals.

Walking in, you are hit with the smell of delicious meat and spices. I was surprised to go on a Saturday morning and find that there were only a couple people in line. According to other customers, they do sell out quickly, so it’s good to get there early for your choice of the meat tamale options. During the weekend, they also offer specialty items that you don’t want to miss!

I decided to try a dozen of the pork tamales and a container of their hot spicy salsa. The flavor of the tamales had the perfect amount of spice and were moist. They paired nicely together with the hot salsa that was definitely not for the faint of heart. I loved how great the fresh tamales tasted and could tell how much love and appreciation they have for their craft. I will definitely be back soon to enjoy more fresh options and to try their frozen packs as well. Whenever you’re craving delicious tamales, Dallas Tortilla and Tamale Factory is the place to go.
