Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo

Get ready to yell yeehaw because the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo is back! This 22 day long extravaganza is filled with heart rushing activities that will be sure to have you cheering. Located at the beautiful Dickie’s Arena you will enjoy a variety of different shows from bull riding to concerts. So grab your cowboy hat and boots and get ready for an event unlike any other.

I was lucky enough to visit the show for the opening evening. The show started off with a pageantry of horses to show off all the competitors and judges for the evening. Throughout the event we watched 6 teams compete in a variety of events that featured livestock, horses, sheep and the best of the west cowboys and cowgirls. This was my first ever rodeo experience and the show lived up to the hype. From the entertaining mcs to the different events that each team competed in. They had us laughing and cheering all night long.

This authentic experience has been a Fort Worth tradition since 1896. You can appreciate the craft these riders and handlers have and it was exhilarating to watch. In addition to the fantastic show, we truly enjoyed the atmosphere of the arena. From comfortable and close seating to their great parking and variety of concession stands. I would highly recommend this venue for any show.
