One of East Plano’s newest coffee shops is a contemporary coffee bar with a drive-thru for those needed their caffeine kick in a pinch! Black Rock Coffee originally hails from Portland, but has multiple locations within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

Whether you prefer to start your morning off with a smoothie, an energy drink, or coffee, Black Rock Coffee has multiple options to quench your thirst. In addition to serving up creative and customizable drinks, their ambiance is perfect for hanging out or getting work done in a comfortable environment.

The exterior and interior are dripped in art, with vibrant paint splatter and other eye catching patterns highlighting the wall. Sink into a comfortable arm chair and get lost in book you’ve been putting off or sit at the bar or at a high top table to knock out some work. There are plenty of seating options available so you’ll never have to worry about there not being ample space!

Start your day with classic coffee options like drip coffee, Americano, cold brew, lattes, or a cappuccino or experiment with Black Rock Coffee’s creative signature drinks! Try a caramel white mocha, an Irish cream breve, or if you really need to be wired for an entire day, there’s an Irish Cream, Vanilla Breve with not one, not two, but SIX shots!

Whether you enjoy your coffee hot, iced or even chilled, Black Rock Coffee has one of the largest syrup selections I’ve seen so you can customize your drink to satisfy whatever flavor combo you’re craving! Syrup options include almond, banana, salted caramel, lavender, guava, English toffee, and even fruity syrups like pomegranate, grapefruit, and watermelon! I was craving their Mexican Mocha, but I had a feeling that adding banana syrup to take it to another level, and I was totally right. The dark chocolate from the mocha and the sweetness from the banana syrup proved to be a beautiful marriage of flavors.
