Blue Goose Cantina

This newly opened cantina will have you coming back for more with their lively environment, carefully crafted cocktails and delicious Tex-Mex cuisine. Right off I-20 in Grand Prairie you will find Blue Goose Cantina. With plenty of parking and indoor and outdoor seating options it’s the perfect place to dine at for lunch or dinner.

We decided to give them a try when looking for a new place to celebrate a special occasion. While we didn’t have a reservation we were pleasantly surprised that we were able to get seated immediately during a busy dinner hour. Our waiter was quick to greet us with chips and individual salsa cups for each of us. We placed our drink orders and enjoyed our complimentary appetizer while we looked over the menu.

Some people in our party took advantage of their Tuesday margarita special which was $2 House margaritas served on the rocks or frozen. They loved the sweet and tangy taste that perfectly complemented the fresh salsa and salty crispy chips.

For my main entree I decided to try their Zesty Ginger Lime Fish tacos that were on their appetizer menu. They were served hot with fresh cabbage, avocado, lime sauce, and cheese that perfectly paired with the crispy tilapia. The flavors of the tacos were unreal and the portion size was large for being on the appetizer menu. The meal left me feeling full and satisfied.

I also got to try my counterparts fish taco that was served grilled and equally as delicious as my tacos. I truly enjoyed my entire dining experience from the fast friendly service to the tasty food. I also loved the lively ambiance and know I will be dining here again soon!
