Chimichurri Argentinian Bistro & Bar

Dallas-Fort Worth is home to a predominantly Hispanic or Latinx population.

According to the 2020 census, 42% of Dallas and Fort Worth residents are Hispanic. This is reflected in the amount of Hispanic and Latin American establishments throughout the metroplex. Whether you’re searching for Puerto Rican, Colombian, Guatemalan, or even Argentinian communities and cuisines, you’re likely to find it somewhere in the DFW metropolitan area.

Chimichurri Bistro & Bar is an Argentinian casual dining establishment serving brunch, lunch, Happy Hour, and dinner. Located in Dallas’s vibrant Bishop Arts neighborhood, Chimichurri boasts incredible grilled meats, both traditional and experimental empanadas, and even divine pasta dishes.

The empanadas are perfectly buttery, flaky, and absolutely stuffed. Chimichurri does not skimp out on the fillings by any means. We had the pleasure of trying the caprese empanada, which was presented almost like a mini deep dish pizza, and the pollo al chipotle empanada, which consists of shredded chicken, chipotle puree, and mozzarella.

Chimichurri debuted their speakeasy, The Branca Room, this past Fall. This intimate gathering space is only open Thursday through Saturdays from 7 PM through 1 AM. The Branca Room’s menu is a nod to both Argentine and Italian cultures.
