Cowtown Coliseum

Get ready to yell yee-haw and saddle up because I just found a fun activity that is sure to inspire locals and visitors alike. If you are looking for a true Texas experience then I highly recommend checking out the PBR Stockyards Showcase. Located in the heart of Fort Worth in the stockyards you’ll find Cowtown Coliseum. This is where the show begins, but prior to your visit there’s plenty of saloons, honkey tonks, food and shopping to explore.

We grabbed tickets online for the show when looking to do something different. It was a great Thursday night activity that had us ready to start our weekend. We got to Forth Worth early so that we could explore the famous Stockyards and did some bar hopping and shopping. Before we knew it, it was showtime so we headed to the event venue.

It was pretty busy for a Thursday night and ranged from couples on a date to family outings and even a bachelorette party. Others were dressed up for the show so I highly recommend dusting off your boots or hat. There was plenty of concessions inside if you get hungry, but since we had just ate we decided to skip on this part. We quickly found our seats and we ready for the action to begin.

During the show we saw world class bull riding, skilled horse handling, and a variety of different activities. The show had our hearts pumping from the adrenaline filled activities and we loved getting to cheer on the cowboys. It was such a fun night out and a unique activity that both ourselves and visitors from out of town enjoyed.
