The Dolly Llama

If you have a sweet tooth, then you’re going to want to put this place next on your list. A perfect place to cool down this summer has got to be the Dolly Llama. Now you may be thinking what does this name have to do with sweet treats? I wondered that myself, but loved hearing their story of how a friendship of two people turned into a dream of bringing joy to others. Named after a real llama, this dessert shop is serving up unique treats that are sure to make their customers happy and bring them great vibes.

My visit definitely made me a happy customer as the process was simple for ordering, the customer service was amazing and I truly enjoyed my item. While they are known for their waffles, I was craving something cold for the hot day. I was looking up places online, when I noticed this new spot located in the Uptown neighborhood of Dallas. I checked out the variety of items from their menu from their ice creams and shakes to their signature waffles filled with cool treats. I ultimately decided on a shake that sounded amazing, placed my order and away I went.

I loved that online I was able to customize my order from adding extra whipped cream to removing items in the original recipe and replacing with my own. You can make it exactly how you like and still know that you will be getting something delicious. I ended up ordering the Cinnalover milkshake that came with their Horchata ice cream, whole milk, speculoos cookies, caramel sauce, cinnamon toast crunch and topped with whipped cream. I removed the cookies, but added banana and it was the perfect concoction for me.

When I arrived my order was ready for me and tasted freshly made. I loved how the flavors blended together and totally satisfied my craving for something sweet. This spot was bumping on a Saturday and others were enjoying treats of all kinds. They had such variety on the menu I know that I will be coming back soon to try other things.
