Dutch’s Hamburgers

It’s touchdown season in Fort Worth and whether you are looking to experience the game at the field or from the comfort of nearby, stopping at Dutch’s Hamburgers is a must. This neighborhood restaurant opened in the spring of 2007 right off University Drive in the heart of Texas Christian University’s campus. Over the last few years they have been serving up delicious eats inside their classic spot that is perfect for not just college kids.

We decided to grab a bite during a recent TCU game and loved that we were not only able to find great food, but a fun spot to catch the game. The crowd was lively and decked out in all shades of purple that perfectly matched the restaurant’s décor. Seating was surprisingly easy to find as they offered several options from high tops, to outdoor tables and even bar seating there is plenty of room for friends and family alike.

Their menu can easily be found on the wall making it great to place your order at the counter. Since we were just looking for some light bites, we choose their spicy chicken tenders that came with fresh cut fries and fried pickles. We only had a short wait before our food was called out and quickly picked up for us to try.

It was hard to pick which was our favorite as everything had such great flavor. From the crispy and hot pickles that paired well with their creamy ranch. To the great bite and perfectly sauced chicken tenders that came with plenty of fries to share. Both the atmosphere and the food were something to rave about!

I would definitely return whether I was looking for a great spot to catch a game or just wanting something to satisfy those college cravings. Dutch’s was perfect in every way!
