Looking for delicious hibachi in a fun and exciting atmosphere? Then look no further than Japanese Palace. Located off Camp Bowie Boulevard in Fort Worth this place feels like a hidden gem.
When arriving you will be shocked to find a packed parking lot and their wood style fortress that has been a Fort Worth icon for over 40 years. They are open for dinner hours and I highly recommend going close to opening to ensure a shorter wait time. If you do have to wait, they have a great full service bar that you can relax in.
Once called to your table the fun begins! Their entire wait staff is extremely friendly and their menu offers a variety of options whether you enjoy sushi, teriyaki, or hibachi options. It was hard to decide on what to order because everything sounded amazing. After we placed our main entrée, drink, and appetizer orders, our hibachi chef, Tony, came to introduce himself. We loved that this experience featured delicious food and a great show that included everyone at the table.
For appetizers we tried the steamed edamame that was fresh and delicious. We also loved their pina coladas that might seem out of place at a hibachi restaurant, but were creamy and delicious. With every entrée meal we received a garden salad with their special dressing, chicken broth soup, six fresh hibachi grilled vegetables, and we upgraded to fried rice over steamed rice. Before we even received our entrées we were impressed with the amount of food we got.
My main entrée was the shrimp dinner that was sauced with lemon, butter and soy. It had such incredible flavor and paired perfectly with the vegetables and rice. We even had enough food to bring home in which they provided to-go containers.
If the delicious food wasn’t enough everyone in our party really enjoyed the lively atmosphere. It was a great place to celebrate a special occasion and a wonderful experience for all ages. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious hibachi restaurant that delivers in quality food and service.
