Top Ten Records

Did you know that Dallas’s oldest record store is located in the vibrant and historic Oak Cliff neighborhood? Top Ten Records originally opened in 1956 as a community record shop and outlet for concert tickets. In fact, Top Ten Records sold the most tickets to the Elvis Presley concert at the Cotton Bowl that same year!

Top Ten Records reopened as a nonprofit in September 2017 and also goes by Oak Cliff Records Library. Their missions is to act as a resource for media literacy and cultural study. They also strive to preserve and restore music and film media for the public.

Top Ten Records has supported the DFW music and DIY scenes for over 60 years. Consider returning the favor by paying them a visit! Check out their Tejano, oldies, hip hop, and rock selections!
