The Tipsy Oak

If you are looking for a happy hour joint that is close to all the action, look no further than the Tipsy Oak. Located in Arlington off Front Street this fun gastropub is a great spot for delicious food, live music, and a great patio that is perfect for your next night out.

Close to AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field, this spot is great to visit before or after a game day. Even if you can’t make the game, they have plenty of space inside and out on their patios with tvs to catch the action live. In addition to their fantastic atmosphere, you can find tasty bites and creative cocktails that are perfect for everyone.

We came as a group and were pleasantly surprised to find plenty of seating without a wait during a Saturday afternoon. The waitstaff was friendly, quick to seat us and even helped us get our game of choice on one of the indoor tvs. Their menu was packed with a variety of options from finger food appetizers to full meals and a beer list perfect for any craft lover.

While we looked over the food options we enjoyed our cocktails of the Blueberry Lemonade and Dragonfruit Jalapeno Margarita that were a great price. We also loved that even on the weekend they offered happy hour deals on their appetizers that were perfect for watching the games. We truly enjoyed the huge Bavarian style pretzel served with mustard and beer cheese as well as the perfectly fried pickles and zesty ranch sauce.

Everyone in our group seemed to enjoy their food and drink selections and we had great service during our visit. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great dinner spot in the downtown Arlington area.
