Dallas-Fort Worth is bustling with entertainment options for adults, groups, and families alike. Whether you’re interested in comedy, live music, art and science exhibits, or even drag shows, there are countless venues to patronize around the metroplex.
Deep Ellum specifically is home to several historic music venues. From The Factory at Deep Ellum and Trees to Three Links, there’s so much preserved history to explore. I recently attended a concert at Sons of Hermann Hall, a music and event venue built in 1911 and named after the first fraternal society in the entire United States. What’s even more fascinating is the fraternity, Sons of Hermann Hall, was founded by German immigrants in 1840.
Sons of Hermann Hall has a more country vibe, in contrast to the vibrancy and hipness of the rest of Deep Ellum. If you’re into dancing, two stepping, karaoke, and live music with a rootin’ tootin’ twist, you’ve come to the right place. Sons of Hermann Hall has multiple bars, located both up- and downstairs, with friendly staff, cold and affordable drinks, and immaculate vibes.
