Looking for the perfect event venue that transfers you outside of Dallas Fort-Worth? Well then I have the perfect place for you that will have you feeling like you are in the Hill Country without even needing to hop in the car. Stone Crest Venue located in McKinney is a great mix of peaceful outdoor vibes to a semi-rustic and industrial inside area.
We came across this venue while evaluating event spaces in the area. Stone Crest stood out to us in many ways and we loved to have a place quite literally in our backyard. The property is a great place to host events of all sizes and can comfortably fit up to 275 people. Whether you are looking to get married amongst the beautiful scenic views outside or host a reception in their large open concept hall, you will love the space here.
The owners at this facility were extremely friendly and great in answering all of our questions during an onsite tour. We loved that the venue offers plenty of space both inside and out to make any special event come to life. From their large bridal suites that are perfect for getting ready in to their large bar that makes a great space for guests to enjoy. Outside you will find beautifully crated benches for a wedding ceremony and fire pits and games that are fun for any party.
While you can’t do onsite cooking, they do have a large prep kitchen inside the venue and plenty of ice to help with service. The best part about this venue is the opportunity to use your choice of vendors. While there are some restrictions in terms of being insured and following the contract rules, we loved that we had the opportunity to choose whoever we wanted to use for our party.
We loved everything about this venue and would highly recommend to anyone. Whether you are planning a family party, birthday, or having your wedding in the DFW area this spot must be on your list!
