When thinking of summertime, outdoor activities always come to mind as some of my favorite memories. Whether it be dining alfresco or enjoying time with friends I love to enjoy these long warm days. If you are looking for something new to try this summer, I highly recommend going to an outdoor concert at Barnhill Vineyards. This unique live music venue is located on a large vineyard in Anna. This rustic and picturesque space is perfect for enjoying the outdoors.
We found out about this venue when looking for a weekend activity. The space specializes in weekend events that host live cover and tribute bands. The atmosphere feels like you are enjoying time at a friend’s house and has a country flare to the space. Full event details and tickets can be purchased directly through their website for a nominal fee or even free depending on the event.
Once arriving onsite you will enjoy plenty of parking space. Our favorite part of our visit was bringing our chairs and even snacks to enjoy during the concert. While you can bring your own, they also offered several food trucks and of course wine for purchase onsite. We enjoyed some tasty fully loaded nachos that tasted great with my margarita wine cocktail. They had several food trucks onsite making sure there was something for every appetite.
In addition to their concert series, you can enjoy Spring and Fall wine tasting during the weekend. Given the 2,500 Texas varietals in their vineyard we knew we would have to come back and try a tasting. We were surprised to find this place close to home and know that it will be a favorite to come back to with friends.
