Bahama Buck’s

Finding a place to cool down is a must this summer! That’s why I am so happy that Bahama Buck’s has recently opened in Grand Prairie. Located right off South State Highway 161 it’s the perfect location for Grand Prairie residents or visitors passing though the tollway. With island themed shaved-ice, desserts, and smoothies there’s something for everyone to indulge in.

We decided to visit when shopping in the area and wanting a cool beverage for a hot day. Since it was a Sunday afternoon, the restaurant was quite busy even shortly after opening. The outside hosts a covered patio area and inside you can enjoy cool air conditioning and plenty of tables. You can even make it an afternoon by enjoying their chill atmosphere and games at activities located on the game wall.

When it comes to their menu they have several options and hundreds of flavor options whether you are craving something sweet or sour. For our choices we grabbed some of their tasty Bahama sodas of the Caribbean Cola that featured Coca Cola with vanilla flavor and tropic crème and the Cherry Lime Squeeze that featured Sprite with cherry flavor and fresh-squeezed lime. Both drinks had us feeling like we were on a tropical vacation with their sweet notes. They were perfect as a refreshing treat and something I would order again. On my next visit, I plan on trying one of their tropical smoothies or even a shaved ice.
