When looking for a place to enjoy brunch, you have lots of different options to choose from across the metroplex. When meeting a friend for some girl time over the weekend, we decided to try out Leo’s Brunch House in Carrollton. Located off State Highway 121, this small but mighty spot is cooking up sweet and savory options that you are sure to love.
While we didn’t have a reservation, we only had a short wait on a busy weekend to grab a table. The place was packed and the moment you walked through the door it was quick to see why it was a much loved place. Their menu offers so much variety whether you are craving traditional eggs or exquisite crapes. They also have several lunch options, delicious coffee, and signature drinks to start your morning or early afternoon off right.
For my main entre I decided to try their breakfast burrito that came with my choice of hashbrowns, breakfast potatoes, or grits. This burrito was stuffed with creamy scrambled eggs, Monterey jack and cheddar cheese, tomatoes, onion, green pepper and my meat of choice. Since I wanted a Mexican flare I try their chorizo which worked well with the other flavors of the burrito. I also enjoyed pairing my meal with their fresh salsa and house made hot sauce that packed the perfect spicy punch.
The meal was absolutely delicious and I loved how great the service was that we were able to receive. We didn’t feel rushed throughout the meal and everything was served hot and in a pretty quick manner for being so busy. I would highly recommend this spot and look forward to returning soon.
