Coffee shops have become more than just a place to grab a coffee. These third spaces have evolved to become cozy and even enriching, with some coffee shops having board and card games within the metroplex. One of my favorite cozy coffee joints is Momo’s Coffeehouse in the heart of Frisco. They’re a Middle Eastern-owned and locally-owned operation with a Mediterranean twist.
Their food selection is Lebanese-inspired, with hummus boards, za’atar focaccia boards, and mana’eesh, which are round savory pies!
Their house specials include a Turkish coffee, affogato, lavender cold foam, and even nitro matcha! We tried a matcha iced latte and one of their mocktails, an espresso mo’tini (get it?). They have other mocktail selections which caught my attention, including the prickly pear marg and passaionfruit spritz!
