There are people that claim the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex has no good tacos or Mexican food. I’m happy to report that those people are plain wrong and I’d like to prove it to you with Tacos Los Chanos in East McKinney.
Just a few minutes from Historic Downtown McKinney, Tacos Los Chanos whips up authentic Mexican food at an affordable price. I ordered a plate of 4 thick enchiladas, served with rice and beans, for only $13. I couldn’t finish the whole plate so I had leftovers for later!
I also tried some carne asada tacos and they remind me of tacos in Mexico City. The meat was expertly seasoned and the texture was perfect.
Tacos Los Chanos has an extensive menu from tacos and burritos to quesadillas and gorditas. No matter your craving, they likely have it!
There is also an attached paleteria offering creative desserts! I was too full to try anything but the Gansito milkshake and deep fried Oreo sundae definitely caught my attention. They also have fresas con crema which looked really fresh!
