If you’re in need of new date night location recommendations, let me introduce you to Kenny’s Italian Kitchen in the Addison Circle area of DFW.
Italian restaurants are a dime a dozen in DFW, but Kenny’s Italian Kitchen is affordable yet classy and you can usually sit with little to no wait. My spouse and I visited on Valentine’s Day and were seated immediately. Everything was reasonably priced while being a “nice” restaurant to take your spouse to.
I want to start off by saying Kenny’s Italian Kitchen is extremely gluten friendly. About 90% of the menu can be made gluten free with no up charge, including the complimentary bread each table receives!
We started off with fried mozzarella sticks wrapped with prosciutto, which were to die for. We also tried the gluten free version of the calamari, something I’ve only been able to enjoy outside of the country.
Kenny’s has a year-round half and half special where you can get half of two entrees for the price of one. You’ll be charged for the more expensive entree, but if you’re indecisive like me, it’s a great deal.
We enjoyed spaghetti with two large meatballs and a delicious baked ziti. Since it was our anniversary, the restaurant was kind enough to hook us up with a warm gluten free brownie sundae!
The service was impeccable and our server was so sweet. We will definitely be coming back!
