If you’re in the mood for Japanese food, you often have to enjoy it at a sit-down restaurant which can be pricey. Hoshi Japanese Cafe is a fast-casual restaurant serving Japanese street food and drinks at an affordable price!
I originally visited Hoshi because they were hosting a car meet, something they often throw. The owner of Hoshi Japanese Cafe is heavily involved in the car and kei car community.
I was overwhelmed by the appealing drink menu and settled on an ube matcha latte, which was made with quality matcha. For dinner, I ordered karaage (similar to popcorn chicken) and a spicy tuna mayo onigiri that was the size of my hand! They refer to these as “Texas-sized” onigiri and it lives up to its name!
