Pie Tap Pizza Workshop + Bar

There’s nothing better than a happy hour that offers delicious food, tasty drinks and affordable prices. You can find all of that and more at Pie Tap Pizza Workshop + Bar. Located off beautiful Magnolia Avenue in Fort Worth this place is a great restaurant to visit.

I had never been before, but had heard great things! So once the opportunity presented itself I knew we had to check them out. Visiting during the week we had ample space to choose from whether we wanted a spot at the bar or in their main dining room. Since we wanted to watch some of the March Madness action we chose prime spots at the bar with perfect viewing of their TVs.

The friendly bartender quickly introduced herself and walked us through their menu since it was our first time. We definitely wanted to take advantage of happy hour and started off with their smoked old fashioned and blackberry smash that was on special for $7. True to the name the old fashioned has a wonderful Smokey flavor and was beautifully presented while the blackberry vodka cocktail was bright and beautiful with a perfect mix of sweet and tart flavors.

For our main entrees we both decided to try their salami pizza that was packed with flavor and topped with calabrese salami, house fennel sausage, biellese pepperoni, bacon, calabrian peppers, organic tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella. While I opted for the lunch portion that can with half a Cesar salad, we both noted that their portion sizes were quite large. To complete our meal we also tried sides of their house ricotta ranch that was perfect for dipping. Everything was extremely flavorful and came out perfectly.

We also loved the atmosphere of this place that was perfect for game day! The entire staff was exceptional and made us feel welcome. It was such a great experience and we can’t wait to head back soon for another delicious pizza and delectable cocktail.
