Piada Italian Street Food

Love the concept of Chipotle, but craving italian cuisine? Then do I have the place for you! Piada Italian Street Food has officially arrived in DFW and is serving up delicious pastas, wraps, salads and more in their customizable counter-order restaurant. I recently had the opportunity to try their delicious food in Plano located off Dallas Parkway.

This was such a fun spot to try and I loved that I was able to create my own bowl from their variety of different toppings and offerings. Just like Chipotle you start by ordering a bowl or a wrap and getting it filled with your protein of choice. From there you add your favorite toppings, dips and dressings to create your perfect meal. In addition to the custom options, they also have several preselected menu items that are perfect if you are in a rush or can’t decide.

I don’t blame you, as everything sounded so good! Though I ultimately wanted to build my own and knew I needed to try their pasta. For my bowl, I grabbed the regular bowl size with grilled chicken, penne, their spicy diavolo sauce, feta cheese, tomatoes, zuchini and mushrooms, and sweet and spicy peppers. After my bowl was perfectly assembled I was able to have my order packed up to-go.

I couldn’t believe how affordable my meal was as compared to what I would pay at a different restaurant and was pleasantly surprised with the amount of food I received. Everything was absolutely delicious and I loved that I was able to customize it to my liking. I would highly recommend this spot and look forward to returning soon to try out some of their different menu items.
