Chocolate Secrets

Did you know that you can enjoy a high tea experience right here in Dallas? I’m talking about the exquisite dining room at Chocolate Secrets that not only offer delicious treats, but a wonderful weekly tea that is the perfect lunch.

We were able to reserve a tea time online and before coming the friendly staff called to confirm our reservation. Upon arrival the dining room was ready for us and to our surprise we had the place to ourselves. The entire staff was such a delight and truly made us feel special by going hand over foot to make us feel comfortable and cared for.

To start off our tea, our friendly waitress brought us a selection of teas to choose from in addition to a fruit parfait, toasted crackers, and a goat cheese ball. The small bites were perfect and helped us to sample a little bit of everything. For the main meal we enjoyed a selection of tea sandwiches(egg, chicken, and cucumber), deviled eggs, fresh baked blueberry scones, and a selection of their famous chocolates and bonbons. Everything had such excellent flavor and it was hard to choose a favorite amongst the bunch.

While this place is famous for their artisan chocolate, we truly enjoyed everything we were served. We loved that this felt like a relaxing lunch and the staff didn’t make us feel rushed. We enjoyed our time and it was the perfect experience.

Chocolate Secrets is a small, local, family-owned company and a place I would recommend to anyone looking for a fun event like the tea, or wanting to enjoy some delicious handcrafted chocolate and treats. It’s a great local shop to stop by for a quiet spot to work or enjoy live music, wine, and chocolate in the evening. No matter the vibe, I would highly recommend checking out this spot.
