Finding a great hair stylist can be tricky. Whether it’s about the trust of seeing someone new, finding hours that fit your schedule, or a place that is not only clean but also affordable, trust me I’ve been through it all. After a recent bad experience, I knew I needed to try someone new and I am so happy to have found Marigold Collective Salon. Located off Little Road tucked away in a shopping center you will find this bright and beautiful space in Arlington close to I-20.
Online, they had such great reviews that I decided to check them out for myself. It was easy enough to make an appointment online using their service selector. You can filter by service first and then stylist to find the perfect option for your budget or if you’re like me, someone available on the day and time of your choice. The salon is open Tuesday-Saturday with different options for morning, lunchtime and evening appointments that are perfect for any schedule. I loved that their website also featured bios on their stylists so you could learn more about the team and your stylist before your appointment.
Their parking lot had ample spaces since it was in a large shopping center, and it was easy enough to find the salon. Once inside I was greeted by their friendly receptionist who got me all checked in. Their waiting area was nicely decorated and had a great selection of products available for purchase if you are hoping to keep up with a professional hair routine at home. After only a short wait my stylist introduced herself and the pampering began. For this visit I was just looking for a haircut to get rid of some dead ends and clean up a job from a previous visit. We started off with a quick consultation to go over my hair cut goals and from there I went to their wash station. Having my hair washed that felt like a dream and I loved the products that were used. My stylist made sure I was comfortable the entire time and offered pleasant conversation.
For my cut the stylist took her time to get my length and layers just right. I absolutely loved the final look and appreciated the beautiful blowout she gave me. I felt like I was talking with a friend and before I knew it, my appointment was over. They made the checkout process easy, and I was even able to book my next appointment onsite before heading out. I left the salon feeling extremely confident and can’t wait for my next appointment.
