Chapps Burgers

When craving a classic style American burger the place I turn to time and time again is Chapps Burgers. There are several locations in the Metroplex but my review is for the Grand Prairie location off South Carrier Parkway. Located close to I-20 in the shopping center of the Fitness Connection you will find this hometown favorite for a great burger and fries.

They make it easy to order online and pick up or order onsite and enjoy a bite to each in their comfortable dining room. On my latest visit I was in need of a quick pick up option to enjoy at home after a long day of work. From my office I was able to use their website to customize my burger to my liking. Whether you love a classic beef patty or looking for something healthier like a grilled chicken breast or turkey burger they have something for everyone!

On this visit I wanted something basic so I stuck to the 1/4 beef patty that is always plentiful and keeps me satisfied without being too stuffed. I was able to verify the temperature I wanted my patty in addition to the toppings of my choice. They offer free ad ons such as lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, mustard, ketchup, and mayonnaise in addition to some small fees for extras like grilled jalapeños and mushrooms. In addition to these classic styles you can customize they also offer several speciality burgers with a variety of different toppings.

After I added all my customizations and a side of their fresh cut fries, I was able to select a pick up time that worked well for my drive time. Upon arriving at the restaurant the space inside was very clean and the lady at the front desk was nice. My order was ready for me at the time stated on my receipt and I was ready to enjoy my dinner.

My food was hot and smelled delicious. The bun was perfectly toasted and held up well to the juicy burger and variety of toppings I choose. The fries were perfectly crispy and tasted great with their homemade ranch dipping sauce. It was the perfect complement to the burger and I truly enjoyed my meal. This dinner satisfied my craving and I know I will be back to enjoy another meal here soon!
