Neko Yubu is unlike any other restaurant I’ve visited in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. It’s a Korean takeout restaurant with a limited menu consisting of fried tofu pockets topped with your choice of flavor as the main star! The toppings we chose included beef bulgogi, spicy pork, fresh salmon, and tuna mayo. However we plan on trying all the toppings at some point! All of the ingredients were fresh as each yubu is made to order, so expect a bit of a wait.
For sides, you can choose from tteokkbokki, miso or yubu soups! We had an iced guava ade to sip and I still think about that drink to this day because of how refreshing it was. It paired perfectly with the yubu.
We definitely plan on coming back, especially with how affordable everything was. Prices for the yubu boxes are $13 for 4, $16 for 5, $18 for 6, or $23 for 8.
