AL BARAKA BBQ GRILL

You know I love finding a good Too Good To Go deal, but this one might be one of my favorites lately. I picked up a surprise bag from AL BARAKA BBQ GRILL in McKinney, Texas, an Iraqi BBQ spot serving up some seriously comforting food.

My Too Good To Go order came loaded with rice, french fries, grilled chicken, and their house sauce aka the kind of meal that makes you question how you scored it as a food rescue deal. The chicken had that smoky, fresh-off-the-grill flavor, the rice soaked up all those juices perfectly, and dipping everything (yes, including the fries) into the house sauce was absolutely the move.

But obviously, I couldn’t leave without trying dessert.

I grabbed the Turab Al-Muluk, also called their Royal Dessert, and this is your sign to add it to your order. It’s a rich, creamy layered dessert made with cocoa, milk, biscuits, heavy cream, and clotted cream.

Think creamy, chocolatey, soft, and just indulgent enough to make you keep going back for another bite.
