Blue Cherry Organic Coffee, Frozen Yogurt, and Pastries

This time last year, I read an article in the Fort Worth Star Telegram about Blue Cherry and have wanted to try it ever since. I live quite a distance from Blue Cherry and it has taken me until this last weekend to make it in. Since it had been so long, I had forgotten about everything this ecclectic restaurant carries. I went in for the pure purpose of getting some frozen yogurt and I had heard that they were the place to go for that. I had been out all day in the 100 degree heat and something cold sounded heavenly.

Unfortunately, I had already eaten dinner so when I saw their menu covers much more than yogurt, it was already too late, I only had room for some yogurt.

That yogurt was absolutely delicious. Because I was hot and ready to enjoy my cold treat, I was halfway through before I remembered to take a photo. I spent five minutes just trying to figure out what flavor I wanted. It’s completly self-serve, from the yogurt to the toppings. Speaking of toppings, anything you could think of to put on your yogurt (within reason of course, they do not have shrimp for yogurt toppings) they offer. Since it had taken so long just to pick the flavor that I went simple with my toppings and just threw some M & M’s in. Next visit I am going to get the mint chocolate chip yogurt…or maybe the cotton candy…or maybe the New York Cheescake.

Then I’ll put some Reese’s Peanut butter cups in it to make it peanut butter mint chocolate chips…or maybe sprinkles to complete the cotton candy…or real cherries to go on my New York Cheescake. I have a hard time making a decision when I have so many. That just means I have to keep going back until I have tried all the combinations. I should be done sometime in 2020.

Next time I visit Blue Cherry, I will make sure to try their “real food” before their dessert. However, that puts you back in the same predicament. Blue Cherry has a little bit of everything. they have Poke, Miso, chicken strips, hamburgers, Brioche, Burritos and Crepes.Then, you have to decide, what are you drinking? You could go with water, soda, lemonade, Boba Smoothies, Bubble Tea, Organic coffee or an assortment of bottled drinks. Once you have figured out what you want to eat, drink and have for dessert, are you eating it there in their comfortable chairs or are you taking it home where you can put on your comfy pants and stuff your face with no judgement?

If you have ever experienced trying to get a large group of people to decide on one restaurant, you know the pain and frustration. Blue Cherry is your answer. It is like a mall food court with its choices and everyone can get something they like, Stop by today and try to figure out what you want to try first.
