Attention all pickle lovers!!!! Have I found the place for you! Located just west of downtown Fort Worth, Best Maid opened a pickle sanctuary that is just waiting for you to check it out. If you have an avid pickle fan in your circle, bring them with you. You should probably make sure your trunk is empty if more than one pickle enthusiast is going, though. You will find yourself staring at a plethora of pickles with no way to get them home if you don’t.
Maybe you’ll plan on buying just one jar of Jalapeno bread and butters because Kroger never has them in stock. Then you see that they offer gallon size jugs of pickle brine and you remember you are about to cook a couple of turkeys in the next 45 days. Or, you see they have pickles that you have never tried before, maybe didn’t even know existed like, Bloody Mary pickles, Sea Salt Pickles, X-treme hot pickles or Polish Pickles.
You also can’t forget the relish, which they also carry in many different kinds and sizes. Boom, just like that and your trunk is full. Pickles aren’t all the Best Maid Pickle Emporium offers. They also carry salad dressings, condiments, okra and even Sour Pickle Beer.
You can also get all sorts of pickle gear designed to tell the world you are a pickle junkie. T-shirts, lanyards, cups, bandaids and jewelry…all a big dill. You can also learn about the history of the pickle and the steps to make one. There’s even a photo opportunity in the store where you look like you are in a pickle truck. When businesses are allowed to give samples again, be prepared for the store to draw crowds of pickle fanatics waiting to try whatever pickle paradise is being served from the commercial kitchen.
