The Rustic

There are several great patios to choose from in the Dallas area, but one of my personal favorites is the Rustic. Located in the West Village area you will find this funky venue serving cold drinks, good eats, and live music almost every day of the week!

We decided to stop by for a drink and to enjoy the beautiful sunshine on a Saturday. When we arrived we unfortunately weren’t able to sit outside due to an event that had reserved the patio so we sat at the bar to enjoy our cocktail. We opted for their happy hour special and got the Legendary Rustic Rita. This delicious frozen concoction came complete with a mango boozy popsicle that is perfect to cool down on a warm day.

The bar area was buzzing with lots of people enjoying the Saturday football games on their TVs or their brunch specials in the restaurant area. Since it was so busy we weren’t able to get a table to enjoy the food. We did love though that we were able to take advantage of their happy hour on a weekend and enjoyed that is it served daily. As we enjoyed our drinks we listened to some live music that could be heard through the open garage doors for a slight patio feel.
