We decided to try out this spot after seeing several of their locations across DFW and we were not disappointed. We stopped by the downtown location conveniently located on McKinney Avenue. With it being a weekend we thought there would be a long wait, but we’re pleasantly surprised we were able to grab an open table or seat at the bar. Since we were just coming for a drink we opted for sitting at the bar. If you are looking to enjoy the outdoors this space also has two great patios that help transport you to Oaxaca.

After having some time to look over their menu, our friendly bartender helped us to the pick the perfect margarita called the De La Casa. As we waited for our drinks to be crated we enjoyed the smokey flavor of their homemade salsa and the crispy chips. We also decided to share a house guacamole that perfectly paired well with our drinks. The cocktails had such a great flavor and perfect mix of tequila and citrus. While we only had time for a drink we loved the ambience, drinks and friendly staff. This restaurant is sure to be a new favorite stop!
