Located in the Arlington Highlands, is the perfect halfway destination for both Dallas and Fort Worth. With the hype of college bowl games, we decided to check them out on a Friday afternoon. We were delighted to find plenty of seating options from high tops to booths and bar seating to be close to the action. They even have a huge patio area that is perfect for summertime chilling. Inside their entire restaurant there’s plenty of tv stations playing every game you could imagine. Our waitress was quick to greet us and deliver some waters while we looked over the menu.
We started off with some drinks and I loved their holiday special of a boozy hot chocolate filled with my flavored liquor of choice. It was nice and warm which was perfect for the chilly day and had a delightful chocolate flavor. We skipped over the appetizers and went for their great lunch specials as our mains. I enjoyed their brown bag burger that came piled high with grilled onions, melty cheese, lettuce, tomato and mustard. It tasted great with their hot fresh cut fries and was the perfect filling meal. My counterparts enjoyed their chicken fried chicken that was huge and had the perfect crisp. Their meal came with two sides so they were able to enjoy both the fries and their large onion rings.
From the food to the drinks and the fun atmosphere, we truly loved our experience. Whether we are looking to catch a game, a tasty cocktail or just a hearty meal, I know we will be heading back here soon.
