Carshon’s Delicatessenv

If you’re looking for the perfect bite to eat then you need to check out this long-standing establishment I recently visited in Fort Worth. With their NYC-style sandwiches, fresh baked pies, and homey atmosphere you will truly love your dining experience at Carshon’s Delicatessen.

This deli has been around since 1928 and Texans have been enjoying their kosher options for years. We decided to visit them when looking for a lunch spot in the area. Their menu was filled with specialty sandwiches, warm soups, and lunch plates to fill any appetite. After looking through all of the options, I decided on making my own meal with their Reuben sandwich that was pilled high with pastrami, melted Swiss, and tangy sauerkraut on crispy grilled pastrami. I also grabbed a delicious pickle spear and their classic matzah ball soup.

Everything was served hot and had great flavor. The sandwich was large enough to spilt and felt extremely filling for the affordable pricing of the restaurant. I couldn’t decide which part was my favorite. If you still have room for dessert I highly recommend grabbing one of their speciality pies that changes daily or their deli offerings to take home. The restaurant also serves beer and wine if you are looking to enjoy a libation with your meal.

We truly loved this unique experience that brought us back to some of our favorite deli experiences we enjoyed in New York. So next time you are looking for the perfect lunch or dinner spot, head on over to Fort Worth. Do remember to bring cash though as this is restaurant doesn’t accept credit cards.
