Ziziki’s

Nothing screams opa more than a trip to Greece. While not everyone has that luxury, you can still enjoy authentic Greek cuisine right here in Dallas. I’m talking about the delicious eats and sophisticated atmosphere inside Ziziki’s.

Located off Travis street in the Knox Henderson this spot is perfect for your next date night out. My partner and I decided to give them a try after craving Mediterranean food. We made a reservation online, which I highly recommend as it was quite busy on a Saturday evening with other couples and families alike. The inside restaurant space is quite cozy, but they do offer an outdoor patio as well for the warmer days.

We had a spot perfectly situated inside and took our time to look over the menu. The wait staff was extremely attentive by always filling our waiters, checking in on us, and even answering some questions we had about the menu.

To start off the meal, we tried their trio of dips that came with an artichoke hummus, spicy hipiti, spinach feta dip and plenty of warm pita bread. All the dips were luxurious, but my personal favorite was the spicy red dip that was unique to other Greek food I have enjoyed in the past. For our mains we both tried the souvlaki. I had the chicken while my partner had the lamb. Both meats were cooked exceptionally being moist and packed with flavor. It tasted great with the handmade pita, herb roasted potatoes, Greek basil, Ziziki sauce, and sweet red onions.

The entire meal was very filling, but it was hard to stop eating! We loved our dinner date here and know that will be a favorite spot to visit for years to come.
