If you have an adventurous palate and you’re looking to try a new neighborhood establishment then do I have the place for you. With a name that translates to looks yummy, MIA LEM is serving up delicious bites and sweet drinks in Grand Prairie. Whether you live in the area or are traveling along the President George Bush Turnpike you need to stop by this fun and tasty establishment.

I decided to give them a try after seeing their grand opening sign when visiting the nail salon next door. Inside the space was clean and offered a large menu with food and drink items to choose from. In addition to the food that you can order, they also offer a wall of prepared food snack items that you can take with you on the go!

Overwhelmed with the selection? They do have a menu of recommendations for their top sellers and the staff inside are friendly to answer any questions. Since I had never tried this type of cuisine before I was curious to try their sugarcane drink that is famous and even included in their name. I went with the original flavor and my order was quickly served. The drink had a unique flavor that was pretty sweet but also included some sour notes. It was perfect for a warm day to quench my thirst.

While I took my drink to go, they do offer plenty of indoor seating to stay and enjoy your meal. If you are just getting something small I do recommend bringing cash as they do not do purchases under $10 with credit cards. If you love your drink as much as I did you will be excited to learn about their loyalty program and punchcard system that will have you earning free drinks in no time. So get ready for a sweet drink, tasty dessert or savory meal at this establishment.
