PJ’s Coffee

Grab yourself a taste of New Orleans at this famous coffee shop. PJ’s Coffee offers house roasted beans, organic pastries, delicious breakfast items and more! Located in Grand Prairie this cafe is perfect whether you are looking to grab something to go or enjoy an afternoon pick me up inside their beautiful space.

I decided to give them a try after hearing about their recent opening in my area. Upon arrival I was greeted by their friendly baristas and the delicious smell of roasted coffee beans. Their menu offered traditional coffee items, teas, pastries and even speciality flavors I hadn’t seen before. To fit their New Orleans heritage they even had King Cake flavored coffee to celebrate the recent Mardi Gras holiday and fresh made beignets.

I took my time to look over their menu and explore their variety of merchandise. They offered everything from coffee beans to make at home and tumblers to take your coffee on the go. While I didn’t need any items in the moment, I’m happy to have found a place to grab stuff when I wanted to try different flavors.

For my order I tried their king cake cold brew and powder sugar coated beignets to fit the theme. The beignets were made to order and came out hot and delicious. The coffee had the perfect bitter flavor that mixed well with the light sweetness from the cinnamon king cake flavor. It was the perfect breakfast and all for a great price.

I knew I wanted to visit again so I made sure to sign up for their rewards program so that I could earn points for future purchases. Everything about this experience was exceptional and I look forward to coming back soon for another caffeine fix!
