Looking for a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space to get your drink on with your closest friends in downtown Dallas? Double Wide is a beloved watering hole with live music, events, and cold concoctions at the crossroads of Exposition Park and Deep Ellum.
Double Wide is comprised of two separate, but connected buildings in a trailer park. Each building has different events going on simultaneously. We stopped by Double Wide for their Pride Party in early June and enjoyed energetic drag performances, DJ sets filling the room with fused genres like salsa and Latin rap, and even live music performances from country artist and America’s Got Talent season 15 quarterfinalist, Kameron Ross.
Out in the trailer lot, two experienced tattoo artists from one of Dallas’s premier tattoo studios, Third Eye Gallery, where they were tattooing Pride-themed flash in a repurposed but sanitized Airstream trailer. The other end of the trailer lot had a mechanical bull with a line of eager folks ready to ride.
If you missed out on Double Wide’s Pride Party, they have numerous events throughout the week, ranging from live music with both local and national touring bands, karaoke nights, and more.
