Eggsquisite Cafe

If you’re looking for Americana home-style cooking reminiscent of your grandmother’s cooking, look no further than Eggsquisite Cafe. This family-owned and operated restaurant has a few locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, including Frisco, Allen, McKinney, Southlake, and Rockwall, and they serve up all your favorite comfort foods with both indoor and outdoor seating.

I started my meal with a warm and spicy chai latte. This drink definitely transported me to autumn. For lunch, we tried the chicken fried steak, which was generously dressed in gravy. The chicken fried steak was perfectly seasoned and tender. This dish also came with a side of crunchy french fries and fried okra, both of which were very satisfying.

Eggsquisite Cafe does offer a gluten-free menu as well. I tried the gluten-free pancakes with bananas and a Nutella drizzle. The pancakes were large, thick, and dense. I definitely took some home for leftovers!
