Culver’s

Did you know that this midwestern favorite exists in DFW? That’s right you can find butter burgers, frozen custard and even cheese curds at Culver’s. Located in Lewisville off State Highway 121, you can grab a bite inside their restaurant or head through their drive through to enjoy their delicious menu items.

Being from the Midwest, I was so happy to see one of my favorite fast food establishments inside the Metroplex. I brought a friend who had never been before to enjoy a delightful lunch when shopping in the area. We were welcomed by their friendly associates who gave us their midwestern charm as soon as we walked through the doors. Since my friend had never been we took some time to look over their menu that featured their famous burgers, salads, chicken tenders, fish options and more. We finally decided on the butter burger meal and fish dinner to satisfy some cravings.

While we waited for our food to be made we grabbed a seat in their clean dining area and picked up our drinks and condiments from the station. Though we didn’t have to wait long to have our food delivered hot and fresh tableside. Our burger was pilled high with lettuce, pickles, onions, tomato, Wisconsin cheddar cheese and mayo. All items that can be added or deducted when ordering. The meal came with crinkle cut fries and our drink of choice. I went with their house made root beer that well complimented the meal.

My friend’s dinner basket came with three pieces of their fried cod, a dinner roll, coleslaw, and fries. We also grabbed an onion ring to share. Though we both had plenty of food to keep us satisfied. Each of our dinner options were hot and well prepared. It was hard to pick a favorite and resembled the same restaurant experiences I had back home. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a fast food experience that not only serves good food, but fantastic service you can count on every visit.
