Looking to start your morning on the right side of the bed? Then you need to visit Urban Donut & Coffee. Located in the Uptown neighborhood of Dallas of Allen Street you will find this cute donut bar gives you options to customize your breakfast or enjoy something they’ve handcrafted from their delicious menu. With options to add ice-cream or coffee to your order, it’s the perfect place to visit when craving something sweet.

We decided to give them a try after hearing such great reviews from friends. While they do offer online delivery and order pick-ups we decided to head instore to see their creations in person before deciding on our delicious treats. Before even entering the restaurant, you will be greeted by the sugary smells that waft from their door. It instantly gives your nose the sign that you can expect something amazing inside.

Inside, their friendly staff are ready to help assist you! From building your own treat featuring the type of donut, toppings and fillings to creating a dozen box for you to take with you, the options are endless. Since we wanted to try an assortment, we grabbed a half dozen to take with us. We selected their specialty pumpkin donut, churro, I want S’more, Ceraliously, Highland Park, Katy Trail Croissant, and donut holes. We loved the fun names that each donut had and the large selection of different flavors they offered. Each donut had their own taste that was amazing and it was great to get a selection of various donuts. From cake style to yeast they have something for everyone. From what we picked my favorites were the pumpkin donut that was perfect for the season and the smore that came pilled high with perfectly toasted marshmallows and cinnamon Teddy Grahams. Though all the donuts tasted just as great as they looked.

If you do have a favorite or wanting to try something special, I highly recommend arriving early as some of their selections due sell out. On a Sunday morning, this donut shop was filled with other guests looking to try their delicious treats.
