When your dog is having the zoomies, finding a place to release their energy can be hard. That’s why I am so happy to have found Bark Park at Bear Creek. Located in Grapevine right off highway 360, this location is perfect for locals and those traveling for the holidays.
Upon entering the park area you will be delighted with the ample parking spaces and large gated parks that will give your furry friends plenty of space to run around. I loved that the park was sectioned off for large and small dogs as sometimes I get nervous bringing my smaller dog to dog parks she’s not familiar with. The other dog owners were respectful of the rules displayed and kept to their sections of the park based on the size of their animals.
The park felt comfortable for both owners and animals by having benches for seating, covered areas of shade, garbage cans, agility courses, and even a splash park. With so many different offerings its perfect to enjoy no matter what season! The entire park was extremely clean making me feel great about bringing my dog here. With different germs and viruses this time of year, I wanted to make sure I was bringing my dog to a place where she can have fun while also being safe.
The park is open daily to the public and free which is a major plus! While there are some rules, there is nothing you wouldn’t expect at a dog park and everyone during my visit was respectful. We had such a great time playing in the park and I know we will be heading back soon!
