With an exquisite name, but a welcoming atmosphere you are sure to love Flying Squirrel Coffee Company. Located right in the quaint downtown area of Mansfield off Main Street you will find this great coffee house that offers unique drinks, delicious treats, and plenty of seating whether you are looking to sit on their patio or enjoy the inside.
This was my first visit to the Flying Squirrel, but definitely not my last. From the moment I walked through the doors I was greeted by their team of friendly baristas even through the hustle and bustle of a busy Saturday morning rush. I took some time to look over their menu options that included seasonal specials such as the white raspberry latte to traditional cappuccino. In addition to their wide coffee selection they also offered items such as lemonades, teas, and even smoothies.
I finally decided on a Turtle iced latte that came with butter pecan, caramel, and mocha syrup. I grabbed a seat at the bar and chatted with my friendly barista while she prepared a wide selection of delicious sounding drinks. While I wasnāt hungry, they did offer a good selection of baked goods that looked fresh and appetizing displayed in the case right next to the counter. While it was hard to resist, I knew I wanted to save my appetite for my drink that tasted like dessert in a cup.

The entire esthetic of the coffee shop was amazing and I loved getting to sit inside while I enjoyed my drink on the hot spring day. It would be a great place to work with their open wifi options or even meet with friends to enjoy a happy hour. I also enjoyed getting to look around the shop at the selection of local art that was displayed and available for purchase.
If you want to experience their great coffee at home, they even sold their fresh roasted beans that came in a variety of flavors. I loved my entire time at the Flying Squirrel and it will be a place I recommend to anyone in the area.
