Swig – Todays DFW

With temperatures heating up in DFW, you are going to want to find a place to cool off. That’s why the newly opened Swig arrives to Hurst at a perfect time just before summer! Located off Precinct Line Road, this soda shop is serving up a variety of delicious flavored drinks that are perfect for everyone.

I was so excited to see that a Swig was opening up near me and had to visit soon after they opened their doors. Known for their unique flavor combinations, there is plenty to choose from or you can even make your own. After looking over their large menu I decided to stop by and was pleasantly surprised with the experience. The staff were quick to greet me in their drive through and helped me to pick the perfect beverage based off my cravings for something sweet and fruity. With the Beam Bum that contained lemonade, guava, grapefruit and fresh orange I was transported off to a tropical vacation.

I ordered a 24 oz drink that was perfect for keeping me hydrated throughout the day. I loved the combination of fresh flavors that was a great mix of sweet and tart. Along with a great tasting beverage, I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere even through the drive through experience. Their entire staff was friendly and welcoming at this location.

While I didn’t have an appetite for food, I would be interested in trying their hot pretzel bites or even their famous sugar cookies on my next visit. With so many different soda combinations, it’s sure to be a new favorite place of mine and I look forward to trying more of their menu items soon.
