Coffee U is a minority-owned local business that’s been roasting Asian-inspired brews and serving artisan pastries for the past six months. I’d heard nothing but positive things about Coffee U and let me just say that the hype is real.
Located just off of Preston Rd and Lebanon Rd in Frisco is your next favorite coffee shop. The staff are always friendly, there are monthly flavors rotated every 4 weeks so you can keep coming back to try something new! Coffee U’s menu is very straightforward, includes your standard brew options like drips, americanos, macchiatos; smoothies and teas; and lastly, signature drinks!
Their tiramisu and blueberry lattes from their specialty section are both delicious and flavorful without being too sweet. Coffee U is also known for their einspanners. Einspanners, or Viennese coffee, consists of strong espresso topped with a thick layer of cold whipped cream! I especially love their einspanner and have tried many variations of it at this point, including their original, matcha einspanner, and even a pistachio with sea salt einspanner. The latter might be my favorite!
If you’re hungry for a bite to eat, Coffee U also has warm croissants, pastries, and Japanese sandos.
