Dallas-Fort Worth is home to countless parks, recreation facilities, trails, and outdoor spaces from Prairie Creek Park in Richardson to Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano. The town of Farmers Branch now hosts the nation’s first glow-in-the-dark public park.
Joya Playground (the Spanish word for “jewel”) at Oran Good Park spans over 18,000 sq ft and is lit with colorful LED lightning! Adults and kids alike can enjoy a 27-foot sphere that you can climb, an obstacle course, zip lines, swings, and plenty of LED-lit seating. This first-of-its-kind park is open daily from 9 AM to 10 PM, with the LED lights turning on each sunset.
