Dallas-Fort Worth is home to one of the largest Muslim populations in the US. With over 150,000 Muslims in the Metroplex, as well as 62 Sunni mosques, it’s safe to say the demand for certified halal food is high.
Olive Burger is a certified halal restaurant whipping up hamburgers and sandwiches, salads, wraps, homemade drinks, and more. I’ve been frequenting Olive Burger since I was in college many moons ago and not only is Olive Burger incredibly affordable (especially in this economy), but all of their various selections are delicious.
My favorite items by far are the lamb gyro, the Olive Burger with double patties, their sweet potato fries, and any of their homemade milkshakes! If you have a gluten allergy, the surcharge for GF buns is only a dollar and some change, much more affordable than most restaurants offering gluten free buns!
