If you are in need of a new neighborhood coffee shop, then look no further than Salter Bros. Coffee Roasters. Located in historic downtown Arlington off Division Street, this family owned small business is a staple in the community.
Not only can you purchased delicious coffee drinks and beans onsite, but you can probably expect to taste their delicious roasts at Texas Live, the Lowes Hotel and other DFW restaurants and cafes. Walking inside you will feel like you are finding a hidden gem with this quiet and quaint atmosphere. Surrounded by beautiful wood tables, large windows and plenty of coffee beans, it’s a great place to grab a drink and even work from.
I was in need of a spot to accomplish some remote work and loved stumbling upon Salter Bros. They have a great classic menu that features a variety of drip roasts, expresso, lattes and cold brew items perfect for any taste. Served iced or hot they are a perfect spot to visit year round. I needed a pick-me-up for the workday so I grabbed an iced Americano with caramel syrup.
The barista was extremely friendly and before I knew it was my drink was ready. The flavor of the expresso was bold and paired beautifully with the sweet notes of caramel. It was such a tasty beverage and cheaper than a cup of joe from other highly popular franchise coffee shops. I loved that I was able to get something delicious while also supporting a local shop.
If you are looking to take your experience home with you, they also offer a variety of coffee beans that are roasted onsite. You can also grab a fresh baked good to enjoy with your drink that truly looked delicious in their display case. I would highly recommend this spot and look forward to returning soon.
