Dan’s Bagels went viral on social media and after visiting I can understand the hype. Located in Trophy Club off Highway 114 this spot is great to visit if you are north of DFW.
This shop is only open in the mornings until sold out or early afternoon, so I highly recommend visiting them early. I came on a weekend and was still able to get exactly what I wanted. They offered such a large variety of menu items whether you enjoy sweet or savory flavors. Everything sounded delicious making it hard to pick what I wanted.
Since I was in the mood for something hearty, I decided to try one of their bagel sandwiches that came with my choice of their famous sourdough bagels, cheese of choice, egg, and sausage. I love spicy foods so I was immediately called to try their jalapeno cheddar bagel. After paying for my choice I only had a short wait until my number was called.
The flavor of the bagel was absolutely unreal and paired nicely with the breakfast food accompaniments. My sandwich kept me full throughout the morning and into the afternoon and was a meal option for under $10.
The experience was also one to remember as their staff was extremely friendly and happy to give recommendations based on your preferences. It is a place I plan to go back to again and next time I hope to try a different bagel flavor and one of their flavored cream cheeses that are made fresh daily.
